If I want to hit a Heavy AA target with DB's I have to use islands to protect them up until the last second. My torpedo bombers can heal through it long enough to get torpedoes off and my rocket planes are fast enough to get rockets off before dying. The only weakness I seem to run into are my dive bombers on heavy aa targets. By pre-dropping bombs before attacking heavy aa targets (so only the planes dropping the bombs have to fly through the AA) I can limit my losses and never run out of planes (unless I make a big mistake). I tend to favor Speed and concealment over survivability when it comes to my planes. from Shoukaku to Hakuryu and from Hermes to Audacious)? With the remaining 5 points, what captain skills should I take for the different CVs I have? How do they differ from nation to nation?
